Garland Green, Jr.
Garland is a seasoned educational technologist and school leader with over 25 years of experience spanning the United States and international settings. From building secure Linux networks in Morocco to leading GDPR compliance in Belgium, he has served as a Director of Technology, instructional leader, network engineer, and advocate for data privacy in schools. A certified Data-Protection Officer and co-founder of the Technology Readiness Council, Garland consults globally on school innovation and currently supports institutions in digital transformation. He combines technical expertise with a historian’s eye for context and a teacher’s heart for students, equally comfortable debugging a server or delivering a course on Moodle. Passionate about meaningful leadership, student privacy, and educational equity, Garland brings a sharp mind, a deep sense of service, and a work ethic forged in the U.S. Marine Corps.
