Damir Tejic
Technology is woven into the fabric of daily life—shaping how we connect, work, and learn. Damir Tejic believes it must be used intentionally, not allowed to drive us blindly. His professional ethos centers on building sustainable, long-term IT systems: solutions that are thoughtful, resilient, and truly responsive to people’s needs. For Damir, meaningful progress and practical impact matter far more than short-term fixes or theoretical conversations.
He joined the Technology Readiness Council because it reflects the kind of professional community he values—one rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to making things better. Damir finds energy in working with colleagues who challenge one another, share openly, and transform learning through grounded, purposeful action. For him, the TRC is a space where learning becomes practice and growth is a collective effort.
As a leader in international education, Damir believes schools must prepare learners to engage with technology confidently, ethically, and critically. He emphasizes that digital readiness is not just about access, but about cultivating the beliefs, skills, and systems that enable meaningful, inclusive use.
At the International School of Stuttgart, Damir leads the Office of IT and Digital Learning and serves as the Data Protection Officer. His work focuses on sustainable systems design, ethical technology use, and ensuring that all digital tools are human-centered—created to serve people, not the other way around.
